The Rooster, also known as the Ohio reporter that got arrested for sending a picture of Shrek’s dick to a Republican politician has broken a new story:

Vivek Ramaswamy made an attack ad featuring Dr. Amy Acton’s estranged mom calling Acton a liar. Amy Acton’s mom’s husband was arrested for raping 12-year old Amy Acton. Acton’s mom stayed with the abuser till his death.

🚨Vivek Ramaswamy hits disgusting new low with ‘October Surprise’ on Dr. Acton It’s one of the most loathsome acts of political hatchery that I have ever seen, and I cover Ohio politics for a living.

Last week, The Rooster reported rumblings that notorious conman Vivek Ramaswamy had co-opted Dr. Amy Acton’s estranged mother for an endorsement video.

The Rooster exclusively reported the full 60-second video on Monday night, which you can watch above.

The ad features Donna Arthur, who we’ve known since at least 2020 as willing to throw her daughter under the proverbial bus for the enjoyment of right-wing freaks.

But before that, we learned what led to the estrangement in the first place: Her mother marrying a pedophile who molested her daughter, and then siding with that pedophile in court.

From The Youngstown Vindicator in August 2019:

The guy had accusations of molestation events in his past, she said. With his abuse of Amy, there was finally enough evidence that officials were called in and criminal charges were filed.

She hasn’t seen or heard from her mom since a day in court after that long-ago arrest.

“In the courthouse after they were charged, I went to give her a kiss, and she just turned her cheek away. That was the last time I ever saw her.”

Out on bond, mom and her husband skipped town and have not been heard from since.

At this point, there’s no evidence that Arthur even lives in Ohio.

Last night, I emailed my old friend Ramaswamy to find out whether he bribed Acton’s mom or whether that crone was hating for the love of the game.

Ramaswamy did not return my email while aboard his $10 million private jet while returning from a day trip to West Palm Beach, Florida, for reasons only known to him.

Ramaswamy and Rose Bowl champion Tim Chitters go back to a sweltering parking lot outside a famous chicken shack in Columbus, Ohio. In the meantime, I’ll be blunt: If I wanted to prove that Dr. Acton had been lying about spending some of her childhood living in a tent, I would not have summoned her mother, who, at this point in time, certainly looks like a woman who had her daughter living in a tent during her childhood.

This ad is beneath the gutter, even for the notorious sewer that is Ohio politics. But it shows Ramaswamy knows he’s losing, and that the millions of dollars he’s invested in his political career will be for naught if he implodes against a Democrat that Republicans thought would be little more than a speed bump en route to his coronation.

Ramaswamy has shown his soul with this negative ad, and none of it is good. I predict it will backfire for anyone who’s not estranged from their children, which, admittedly, is already a decidedly Republican voting bloc in American politics.

The Rooster will have more as this story develops.
