If an election were held today, 48% of committed voters would vote Liberal, 32% Conservative, 9% NDP, 6% Bloc Québécois, 3% Green, 1% People’s Party, and 1% another party.

I mean, then we kinda get what we deserve and don’t really have any room to complain about what we voted for. We did it to ourselves.
We hoped Carney won’t be as shitty as we knew Pierre PP and CPC to be.
We had no other realistic choice. Blanchet and Singh were nonstarters.
PPC and Green Party only really exist to keep May and Bernier employed.
We did it to ourselves because it was our only option at that point in time.
Well, on that, he’s not. But that hasn’t stopped the complaining.
That’s an excuse and a poor one. You always have a choice. You made that choice.
On this you’ll get no argument from me.
Absolutely not. And part of the reason I agree with you about PPC and Green is exactly this statement.
I’m not saying he’s some monster. But, why shouldn’t plebs complain about some of the things PM is choosing to do?
Poor, working class people didn’t get inspired by Singh. Most of the country doesn’t agree with a lot of the stuff BQ stands for.
PM’s got the majority now. He’ll do as he please and I’ll waste my time and energy bitchin about it.
If you’re complaining constructively, fine. If you’re complaining just to hear yourself talk, save your energy. And the way you’re complaining right now, you’re doing it just to hear yourself talk.
Poor, working class people shouldn’t be getting inspired by politicians in the first place. I mean, unless you’re in a union, then maybe Avi’s your guy. And the BQ doesn’t give a shit about most of the country. You can only vote for them in Quebec.
Or, you can put your time and energy into making what he’s doing affect you less. I mean, you’re gonna do what you’re gonna do and that’s your choice, but one of those things is productive.
You’re right and I agree with you.
It really is a waste bitchin about it like an idiot. It just feels nice doing it now and then.
Might I suggest going for a walk, or seeing if you can get your hands on a punching bag? I get the need to release frustration, but put that energy into something positive for you. They’re too far out of the reach for anything negative from you.
And, like I said, work on making yourself less effected by what they do. If surviving the 2008 recession and whatever the hell the current economy is has taught me anything, it’s I should have started that second thing years ago.
I’m not committing my life like some Frank Castle on a mission or anything.
Just a passionate amount of rage against the machine. No plans or schemes in progress.
Passion is good. Direct it somewhere that changes things for you positively. That’s better.
