Want to break userspace together? 👉👈
I don’t know what this is about, but I see cute fox i petpet and upvote =w=
Is this some chronically online term I have too much vitamin D to understand?
Edit: no I’m just dum
‘user space’ refers to everything that is not the kernel, i.e. is running in a manner (ignoring e.g. loading kernel modules) accessible by users. Linux has a long-standing (though often broken) tradition to never break user space in kernel patches. Processes like the init, your system’s services, etc. are part of user space despite appearing to be just part of the OS.
Huh. Surprised I didn’t know the term already
Appreciate the clarification :)
You’re welcome! :3
