Hopefully lab grown meat takes off, but I guess we’ll see if it’s any better environmentally. The current meat alternatives like beyond or impossible are okay, but nutrition-wise, it’s not any healthier for you.
Also, I can’t imagine the volume of greenhouse gases the cattle farming released, it’s a double whammy along with the deforestation.
There aren’t too many RCT trials on it, but the was some research to suggest that it does actually come out ahead compared to meat in an RCT trial though there was a potential of conflict of interest there https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7657338/

I really should give up dairy one of these days. But I’m already a vegetarian, and restricting my diet even further would be hard.
I guess what we actually need is a coordinated boycott of beef, but I have no idea how to make that happen.
Plant milks are pretty great and so are plant milk yogurts as well if you haven’t given those a try

I already prefer almond milk to cow’s milk, so I’ll definitely try plant milk yogurts.
