Found this giant wall painting in a boardgame cafe in downtown Madrid! What do you think?

Caverna is missing!
At least agricola is there :)
Have you tried El Grande? I found it to be surprisingly competitive/confrontational for a eurogame. But its still a great game even today!

No. I didn’t even tried Agricola, because I started exploring boardgames a bit late in life, so Caverna was already out by that time and I read that it gathers the best parts of Agricola and Le Havre.

i think the author is not very fond of “american” games.

It’s a pretty common term, actually, and not always used unlovingly. Still, the idea of “American” games versus “Euro” games isn’t as useful as it once was for differentiating board game genres.

My Spanish isn’t great, but looks like a nice overview! I haven’t heard of Virus!, I’m guessing it’s a Spanish game?
Indeed! I never new its a spanish game. Its a very fun little game: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/180020/virus
Its a card game where each player has exactly three cards in hand at any given time. Some cards are body parts and you will try to build your “body”. Other cards are viruses and you can infect other peoples bodyparts. Some cards can steal body parts, switch them or cure them.

TIL that Viral is not the only game with this theme!

This looks neat but “Eurogames” encompasses a HUGE evolving tree of its own these days. Would love to see something similar for the taxonomy of modern euro mechanics.

I can recommend reading Irvin Finkel on boardgames. Also his youtube videos are quite nice.
