• Still haven’t played a game, and all my models are still gray except one

I’m really looking forward to painting the rest though! I’ve got a huge backlog of Legion, 40k, and Fallout Wasteland Warfare minis to get through. The game looks fun too though IDK if I’ll ever have time to try it.

  • Nice minis! Looking good. Got some too:

Unfortunately me and my friends realized that we don’t like the gameplay of Legion at all, especially the focus on Hero units. I still love my rebels but I don’t think I will play them ever again. As for Shatterpoint, I will have to look up what that is. Haven’t followed any Legion news in a long while.

Edit: Just had a look at Shatterpoint. No, it doesn’t seem like something I’d enjoy. Seems to me the focus will shift even more towards Hero/special units. I’d enjoy a game more with less special troops and more actual full scale war.

    • Shatterpoint is a new, separate game from Legion.

It’s uh…entirely hero focused. The scale is different as well, it’s 40mm like Marvel Crisis Protocol. Bigger minis, but fewer of them on a board and each mini looks to have more intricate stats and abilities, which again makes me think of MCP.

I have a friend trying to get me into it but I’m like bruv, I JUST painted all these Legion models.

      • I just had a quick look. Yea, that is unfortunately exactly the direction I dislike in core Legion already. I think it’s a fine direction for a spin off game though and has the potential to play better than Legion.

What troops do you have? Because I had the feeling that the more troops I bought the less tactics I could employ and the less fun I had. We even build a small Tatooine space port and got really into making sure our minis were looking the best they could but we could never quite make the gameplay work out for us.
