Nah i dont think thats the case. The Oakland A’s are going through their version of the 1899 Cleveland Spiders where the owner is entirely disinterested in the team and trying to strip it for parts before trying to move to Vegas.
I’ve seen this movie before. All the team needs is an ex-con pitcher with terrible eyesight and a collective hatred of the owner to propel them to the post season.
Oh yeah that’s definitely true, I think the headline just made it sound like he was making fun of them, when he’s actually giving them some props in the article
