Over the past few days many admins have been stickying giant posts, which makes scrolling through Mlem a little rough.
Any plans to have a feed that truncates or completely hides the body of posts?
JoJo ( @jojo@beehaw.org ) English8•1 year agoYes, it’s near the top wrt priority rn: https://github.com/buresdv/Mlem/issues/14
blah ( @blah@lemmy.1204.org ) English7•1 year agoPerfect. Came here to post the very same, and I’m glad to see that it is planned. Really like the app so far, there’s significant improvements at each release.
Schedar ( @Schedar@beehaw.org ) English7•1 year agoYes - one of the Mlem devs said that it was being worked on and should be in the beta soon

I can confirm this— it’s currently in our issue tracker. It’s also a very common request, so don’t worry; we’re working on it!
🎉
dpunked ( @dpunked@feddit.de ) English5•1 year agoI would love that!
Platypus ( @platypode@sh.itjust.works ) English4•1 year agoYou bet! This is one of our most requested features. There’s a big post overhaul coming down the pipeline soon–I just opened the pull request for it, so if all goes to plan that should hopefully be hitting the beta in the next build
Awww yeah! Excited for the next build. Also high five to whoever made the icon in the current build. It’s dope!
gts ( @gts@lemmy.world ) English2•1 year agoAh I just commented this on one of the sticky posts too.
If an OP has written a suuuuper long post it means there’s lots of scrolling. Glad to see this is being worked on; thanks mlem devs!
louija ( @louija@vlemmy.net ) English1•1 year agoI’m glad this is high on the docket. Was scrolling through newcommunities and got a sudden screen full of tarantula lol 😬
