Brad_Brace ( @Brad_Brace@lemmy.world ) 16•1 year agoShould’ve seen it coming. The next job to be taken over by AI is that of redditor.
BobQuasit ( @BobQuasit@beehaw.org ) 3•1 year agoThe only challenge will be to figure out how to get AI bots to by the things they see advertised on Reddit. Which means they will have to find some way for AI bots to make money outside of Reddit.
…come to think of it, they may need to research AI bot advertisers, too.
Oh, screw it. Let them just replace everything with AI, including all the people. Let’s face it, venture capitalists aren’t comfortable with human beings anyway.
hackeryarn ( @hackeryarn@lemmy.world ) 9•1 year agoSeriously though, I recently posted an article there and literally half the replies were obvious ChatGPT bots summarizing the article.
Anosyn ( @Anosyn@feddit.de ) 8•1 year agoWell, I for once liked the PrequelMemes- and Lotrmemes-bots. Had a lot of personality to them :D
doofer_name ( @doofer_name@feddit.de ) English5•1 year agoSam-Bot … already miss him.
starrox ( @starrox@sh.itjust.works ) 6•1 year agoWhat good is an army of bots if you dont use them huh? Tree falls in the woods and so? :D
I agree, other than trying to bait unaware users (that at this point are a minority) this seems just a desperate attempt and waste of resources
luciole ( @luciole@beehaw.org ) 2•1 year agoI guess at this point they’re baiting unaware investors or stakeholders or something.
🐝🇭🇪🅻🅻🇪🇧🅴🆁🇹🐝 ( @Hellebert@beehaw.org ) 4•1 year agoIt would just be back to where they started. They faked it until they made it with Reddit.
luciole ( @luciole@beehaw.org ) 3•1 year agoTired old meme replies all the way down.
