There’s already a bunch of programming communities by language plus generic programming and a whole Lemmy instance just for programmers.
What specifically are you looking for?
I ran across programming.dev earlier. Great use case for a specialized instance.
I am looking for something like r/programminglanguage, where they discuss generic programming language research, show case new language feature, and new (smaller hobby) languages.
Personally, I am more interested in the generic research aspect of PL than a single specific programming language. But it is also fun to see what others have came up with.
