OMG, this reminds me of when I shared my paper diagnosis with my new therapist…the diagnosis that had been so freeing, so life-changing…she read through it, said it was “dark and tragic” and that “it made her so sad.”
She wasn’t my therapist for very long.
Bloody hell, yeah that’s pretty shit.
There have been so many times I’ve told people that right after they made a ableist joke about “acting like a spastic” or that something was autistic. Stg I live for that shit
