    We’re doomed haha.

Same sentiments din from another news article

TikTok influencers and celebrities are increasingly taking over from journalists as the main source of news for young people, according to a report published Wednesday by the Britain-based Reuters Institute.

The report found that 55% of TikTok and Snapchat users and 52% of Instagram users get their news from “personalities” – compared to 33-42% who get it from mainstream media and journalists on those platforms, which are most popular among the young.

This is bound to happen para satin na may short attention span, short-sighted mindset, at short-term memory.

For me, resulta siya ng kung anong idinidikta satin ng society eh. Yung iba, walang time magbasa at maghanap ng legit sources. Meron din na mas pinipiling malibang kesa matuto. TikTok caters to those two sides—short videos na ang panghatak ay aliw.

This is not to say naman na walang puwang yung educational TikTok accounts sa Filipino audience. It’s just that kailangan mong mahuli kung saan sila nalilibang bago tayo may ituro.
