Beehaw - I’ve made a user-script that adds the home-instance name after people’s username in the comments
Preview
Users from beehaw have nothing appended
Can install with tampermonkey, greasemonkey etc.
*The same script for kbin.social *

That ought to be a feature of the UI tbh and I think I saw an issue on their github about it, would be nice to have implemented.
Someone was saying on kbin that many ppl wanted it - but the Devs have bigger fish to fry , like , a wave of new users they are barely handling

Yeah, I bet, just thought you’d might want to take a stab at it yourself? :)
I was gonna start an instance for testing but I only have a shared server with no root access so I can’t install it

I think you can still get the smallest aws instances free for a year, that might be enough just for local tinkering?

Both Lemmy and Kbin need A LOT more devs and quickly, just this morning was mentioning that i took a look and Lemmy had more than 200 open issues on Github

Thanks, looks handy. Will give it a test shortly… though my home instance is not currently beehaw… do you mind if I shamelessly copy this for aussie.zone? :)
Ya sure, didn’t have time to test other instances and add all their URLs but you can fork it on greasyfork ~

thanks for this, having to hover over names to figure out who’s from where has been driving me insane!
