I’ll be reading something and all of a sudden the tab title is something wholly different; today I tried to post in a thread for community suggestions and it wound up in another thread entirely. I was just reading about what’s going on over at reddit and the tab title is some story related to a Twitch star. Anybody else having troubles of this nature? FF, Win10, VPN.
It’s been happening to everyone, I think. And definitely not just isolated to Beehaw.
Ah, Lemmy code growing pains. Another one I’ve noticed, I think it’s the deadly combination of All + New, and it’s a live firehose of postings. That’s to be expected though…kind of cool to watch, actually.
Yeah, I have my home pages sorted by new and sometimes it’s a trip to see like fifteen posts come in at once. But most of the time it’s just like one or two a minute or so. Not too bad. At least on Beehaw.
Known bug… When Lemmy was first coded in the most active communities didn’t even have close to 1/10 of the activity we’re seeing now all over the place. So they weren’t aware/didn’t test for issues that would happen at this level of volume.
