Hi, first time contributer, so here are some questions:)
Could someone please check if I did this speed cam right ?
https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/138752062#map=19/41.15212/-8.58060
Also I have added this comercial gym node, but shouldn’t I update the overview of the buildings to show that there are 2 different places now ? If so, how ? ( I am using Vespucci on Android)

Appreciate your insights thanks !

Hi. Not sure what to say about your edits, but you might be able to ping some users from Mastodon who are generally very reactive.
@openstreetmap@en.osm.town for example might direct you to the wiki page with your answer
Perhaps this is the type of thing you’d need to review? https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element#Situations_where_multiple_elements_may_be_needed
I don’t know. I always ask for help if things get complicated. The OSM community is cool, so they’ll help out.

Not sure on your edits, but the app ‘every door’ is designed to help put in details around buildings, including things like your gym. Check it out, it may be a great way to introduce you into osm contributions

@CjkOvPDwQW In short, it’s not correct, because the node is not associated to the way that is controlled. See “How to map on the wiki”: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway=speed%20camera?uselang=en. The simple method is a node part of the way (to represent the existence of a control at that place). The more advanced is an isolated node (for the physical location of the camera) but make it part of a three-node relation to represent the direction of the control and link it to the way.
