Instead, the Vision Pro will get its iPad app.
DJDarren ( @DJDarren@beehaw.org ) 4•2 years agoI’m at a point where I wonder if Netflix will even exist by the time Vision Pro comes along.
hariette ( @hariette@kbin.social ) 3•2 years agoI think billions in revenue can probably help them pay their bills and keep going 😂
Dewbs84 ( @Dewbs84@beehaw.org ) 3•2 years agoCan’t say I’m too surprised, they won’t even integrate fully with Apple TV
somethingspecial ( @somethingspecial@kbin.social ) 3•2 years agoI’m a little surprised. If they embraced it they could make another money grab by ensuring more than one person in a room couldn’t watch at one time. More subscribers!!
Dewbs84 ( @Dewbs84@beehaw.org ) 1•2 years agoTrue true
blake ( @blake@kbin.social ) 1•2 years agoThis may be a hot take, but I don’t think every app needs a visionOS-specific version. I think mainstream video apps are just fine as 2D panels running the iPad apps, rather than AR or VR experiences designed from the ground up to perform the same purpose. The only real benefit I can think of is something like Amazon’s x-ray, but that’s a gimmick at best.
