@Technological_Elite I don’t understand what “Reddit for Lemmy” means. Is this some sort of application to convert Reddit posts to Lemmy or access through Lemmy?

Hey, just make it intentional by calling it a joke. Reddit is nothing without its 3rd party apps, and Boost was one of them. It’s basically Reddit for Lemmy.

Boost was my favorite app and I paid for premium. But ever since joining Lemmy I’ve been trying to replace all my apps with ones that are FOSS. I’ll have to pass on this one unless things change

Title gore and double post. You’ve had one job OP and you fucked it up twice.

kbin’s api is not out yet for app developers is what I have heard.
- speck ( @speck@kbin.social ) 5•11 months ago
That’s my understanding too. Although I also keep forgetting that I know that.
Like when I made my comment.

Yeah this post by the Artemis dev explains what’s going on with the API right now
Apparently there’s a PR adding the new API that the Artemis dev is already running on a test server, but it’s not official to the codebase that major Kbins are running yet.
So seems like we’re very close and that should really change things in terms of Kbin apps. Also Artemis is about to launch their public beta as well and from what I understand it’s looking pretty nice. Will be great to have an app that supports both Lemmy and Kbin.
