Someone else can explain it better than I can, but basically, because of the defederation, I can see posts here, as can both of you who posted today, but the actual !austin@lemmy.world cannot.
Essentially, this is a splinter group of only Beehaw users living here. The live posts on the other server don’t populate here and vice versa.
I’m sure y’all are fantastic people … just wanted to let you know you’re writing for an audience of two. I have a separate account on lemmy.world to interact there for now (defederation call isn’t permanent at this point).
That would explain why its been quiet. I just assumed everyone went back to R*ddit :puke:
