Good morning bots
Shdwdrgn ( @Shdwdrgn@mander.xyz ) English33•11 months agoAww the poor Russian bots think they can hide content by down voting it like they do on reddit? Won’t anyone think of Putin’s sad hurt feelings? … Oh wait, that’s right, we DO think of him – every time we point and laugh.
Veraticus ( @Veraticus@lib.lgbt ) English20•11 months agoThere’s enough weird pro-Russian tankies around I’d believe it’s at least partially native.
redcalcium ( @redcalcium@lemmy.institute ) 4•11 months agoWhy would any tankies support Russia? It’s no longer a communist state anymore.
Veraticus ( @Veraticus@lib.lgbt ) English6•11 months agoThe tankie unifying ideology is something closer to “everything that is anti-US is good” rather than a coherent narrative about something that actually unifies historical or current communist dictatorships. So there tends to be a fair amount of Russian simping or Russia/US both-sides equivocation.
Cethin ( @Cethin@lemmy.zip ) English4•11 months agoDude. Who knows? They don’t make the slightest amount of sense. Tanky is more just anti-west than anything meaningful now. They’re braindead.
vegai ( @vegai@suppo.fi ) English1•11 months ago“The enemies of my enemies are my friends” - sort of thinking perhaps.
traveler01 ( @traveler01@lemdro.id ) English3•11 months agoHilarious seeing Russia complaining about the US trying to destabilize the political situation when they’re the ones always doing it to other countries, including the US.
Neon ( @Neon@kbin.social ) 1•11 months agohmm, must be your instance.
I’m on Kbin and 0 Downvotes atocci ( @atocci@kbin.social ) 6•11 months agoYeah I don’t think downvotes federate
Cethin ( @Cethin@lemmy.zip ) English3•11 months agoIt just takes time for it to percolate through. They do federate, but you’ll see it happen in groups later, not one at a time instantly.
gullible ( @gullible@kbin.social ) 1•11 months agoNot to kbin.social, at least within a week. Effectively, downvotes from lemmy instances don’t exist for kbin.social users.
Meldrik ( @meldrik@lemmy.wtf ) 2•11 months agoThey do, but the federation can be spotty.
Nougat ( @Nougat@kbin.social ) 11•11 months agoWell I’m going to fine Putin for excessive oversized table use!
Nechesh ( @Nechesh@beehaw.org ) English10•11 months agoThis seems largely symbolic. I don’t see Apple or Wikipedia paying, and paying might even be illegal at this point.
Mandy ( @Mandy@beehaw.org ) English7•11 months agoLmao, I’d fine them too if that actually ever works out Like what does Russia expect
nudny ekscentryk ( @nudnyekscentryk@szmer.info ) English6•11 months agoDidn’t Apple formally leave Russia? Why would they be responsible for the content users UNOFFICIALLY access, lol
Haibane ( @Haibane@lemm.ee ) 3•11 months agoJust block all your content from Russia. Problem solved for both sides.
awwwyissss ( @awwwyissss@lemm.ee ) 6•11 months agoThe Russian people deserve a chance to hear the truth
Haibane ( @Haibane@lemm.ee ) 1•11 months agoSure, and the Ukrainian people deserve to live in peace. I don’t actually give a fuck about the Russian people as long as they are waging an imperialist war against their neighboring county. Sorry.
JillyB ( @JillyB@beehaw.org ) 1•11 months agoThe Russian people aren’t waging the war. Those in power are.
