Hi!
I am missing a good Terminal-Manager like MobaXterm for Linux. I know that i can install it with wine, but that is quite buggy and not all features work.
Is there a good alternative for Linux?

Midas ( @midas@ymmel.nl ) 3•2 years agoI had to use a windows machine for work and was super bummed I couldn’t use Remmina. It’s a great client way better than anything on windows
Papamousse ( @Frederic@beehaw.org ) English2•2 years agoI’m using remmina to access windows RDP machine, I’ll check what other cool things I can do with it

pspinler ( @pspinler@beehaw.org ) English4•2 years agoI use “terminator” – it has a different visual appearance, but does a lot of the same features, and some I think better. For instance split screen in various ways, and input multiplexed and sent to multiple tabs / screens.

akash_rawal ( @akash_rawal@discuss.tchncs.de ) 2•2 years agoI just use any basic/default terminal. For SSH I prefer to automate tasks like entering passwords, proxying/port forwarding, jumping over gateway servers, … using shell scripts.
