… Oh, that kind of dark theme. I thought we were going to learn that the GIL murders orphans every time it’s invoked or something.

Not having dark theme for docs should be illegal ;)

Didn’t know how much I needed this before now.

Thank goodness, although I usually read the docs in devdocs.io, which has a dark theme.

Cool site, but odd that it’s missing PowerShell.

I’m pretty new at programming so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what program are you using to view the docs in? Its not a browser or a code editor?
- Morton Fox ( @mortonfox@pawb.social ) 6•1 year ago
You could use a web browser. Just navigate to docs.python.org
- BWhales034 ( @BWhales034@thelemmy.club ) 1•1 year ago
Yeah we browser is the only way I know to get the docs, whatwver this is looks… Cooler? Though which is why I asked
The screenshot might look a little weird, because I resized the browser window. Also the colors seem to be a little off, probably because of image compression. I’m not sure if that’s a Lemmy thing, or perhaps just my instance

Thank lord. Everything should have a dark theme.
- hairyballs ( @hairyballs@programming.dev ) 5•1 year ago
And a light theme. I’m tired of websites having dark theme only.
- traveler01 ( @traveler01@lemdro.id ) English2•1 year ago
I use dark theme on anything but I know some people still like to use the light theme.
