Hello there! I’m currently running as main a full maxed Gauss, with maximized Strength and Duration. This build aims to get the highest fire rate and melt any boss (expecially archons) with the Laetum. Of course the ability that has to go is Thermal Sunder, as it gets too small with Narrow Minded to be useful. I’m currently running Fire Walker, and altough I do find it pretty useful and fun (SPEED), it’s not helping that much. I’ve tried with Energized Munitions, but Laetum incarnon form can’t sinergize with ammo efficiency.
So what ability can go well with max duration / max power?

Eclipse and hope you get damage boost on boss and not dodge chance, it doesnt share like roar butthe damage boost is 4x.
Then again if you are willing to drop a mod for an augment, you could run Oberon subsume and get like 250% radiation damage which IIRC is archons biggest weakness.
Roar, Eclipse and Xata’s whisper are perhaps the obvious answers, max range/strength sounds perfect for a roar damage boost.
Though I haven’t unlocked it myself, I imagine Grendel’s Nourish might be a fun alternative, granting both bonus viral damage, as well as doubling all energy income, which sounds like it would synergize beautifully with kinetic plating. Min range does effectively negate the viral pulse on damaged, but I think the other two effects might be enough to consider it regardless :)
Assuming you’re running non-crit Laetum, Xata is your absolute best-in-slot ability, as it still has the bug where Xata is able to roll on the damage multiplier, giving you 441x damage.
