Russell Moore criticized Donald Trump and the Southern Baptist Convention’s response to a sexual abuse crisis. Then he found himself on the outside.

Moore believes part of the problem is that “almost every part of American life is tribalized and factionalized,” and that has extended to the church.
Does this “top official in the Southern Baptist Convention,” current editor-in-chief of Christianity Today magazine, and author of a book on “finding a path forward for the religion he loves” know a single fucking thing about the history of religion in general or Christianity in particular? Because religion/Christianity has been “tribalized and factionalized” literally forever, long before America even existed.
Fuck this guy pretending to be some kind of expert or authority on the subject.

I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that he meant “almost every part of American life is politically tribalized and factionalized.”

Kind of hard to preach honesty and marital integrity when the leader you endorse has two ex-wives and is a convicted rapist.
