This is a somewhat rare song for the band. It was recorded during the Lullabies to Paralyze sessions and then the tapes were lost for a while. A 7" with the song was given to ticketholders for a cancelled London show as an apology. Then it was provided for free as a preorder bonus for Era Vulgaris. To this day it has not had a major release and is not on any streaming platforms.
I was lucky enough to see QOTSA perform the song when I saw them in 2014. I really dig the demented circus vibe that gives it a bit of a Primus feel. I think it’s some of their best work.

The first time I saw them live they were playing their first album, but with extra songs. It was odd hearing all this music I was so familiar with interspersed with songs is never heard before. What an amazing concert and experience. It was in the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. I swear I remember them doing 3 encores, but it might have been 2. To this day it’s my favorite concert experience.
