genoxidedev1 ( @genoxidedev1@kbin.social ) 10•2 years agoQuite honestly I miss the 0 engagement you get on Reddit way less than automod
magnetosphere ( @HappyMeatbag@beehaw.org ) 8•2 years agoBut if you count sealioning and pedantry, there was LOTS of engagement!
Granixo ( @Granixo@feddit.cl ) 8•2 years agoAnother reason why i left.
uphillbothways ( @uphillbothways@kbin.social ) 8•2 years agoMods over there loved to take down good posts and then immediately repost them for maximum karma. They’d just make up reasons to steal shit, while you’re just out there trying to interact with a community you were passionate about.
Bunch of turds chasing each other down the drain. Good riddance, indeed. KoboldCoterie ( @KoboldCoterie@pawb.social ) English3•2 years agoThe lack of a karma system on Lemmy is one of the best things about it. The underlying idea was fine, but I’m just not convinced there’s any way to implement it that doesn’t encourage low-effort shitposts. No need for karma bots when there’s no karma.
Gsus4 ( @Gsus4@feddit.nl ) 4•2 years agoGooooooooooodbyyyyyeee Reddit-channnnnnn!
m-p{3} ( @mp3@lemmy.ca ) 3•2 years agoThen one of the mods repost the same link and get all the karma.
𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 ( @maniel@lemmy.ml ) 3•2 years agoYeah and if you appeal to the mods they have a superiority complex stick in their asses, same with comments, too short
