As someone who mostly uses fedoverse not the big tech apps, I gave a shot to it, but had hard time finding what to subscribe. When browsing all it was just porn.
As with Mastodon, I’ve found that following accounts that recommend other accounts/topics/hashtags is a nice start. There are also directories that can help until the browsing itself becomes better
