I recently discovered that bridges exist on Matrix allowing you to communicate with others on different platforms.
I would love to make use of this, but I lack the technical abilities to spin up my own server… at least not without a step-by-step for noobs. Does anyone know of a server that’s open to join that has bridges available to use? Or barring that some reasonably priced turnkey service? I saw one that was $22/mo for up to 50 users, but that seems a bit much for just me.
Bridges are likely unavailable on any open servers. Beeper is probably the closest turnkey solution you will find: https://www.beeper.com/ which I believe is priced around $10 a month. They have also open sourced their bridges and have an easy ansible repo that you can try if you don’t want to sign up for beeper.
