Its free and can be used on android,also proton vpn is too slow for me,this one is much faster

Riseup is run by activists entirely on donations, so I don’t think that ‘you are the product’ really applies. Be a bit cautious anyway though, because they have given info to the FBI before. Of course Proton has handed over IP logs to Swiss law enforcewent too. There’s only so far you can really trust any VPN. I still think they’re more trustworthy than most other ‘free’ VPNs though.

Totally agreed. As much as I don’t like them handing over that sort of data, its hard to justify demanding they accept facing prison time for some dipshit on their service.

I generally trust riseup, but there’s no guarantee. if you want a guarantee you have to pay for it (after doing proper research).

It’s great for activists. It definitely won’t be faster than ProtonVPN though
