Eq0 ( @Eq0@literature.cafe ) 5•10 months agoPremise of the book: a little girl is intentionally and deeply hurt, she is then discriminated upon because of that. How do you rationalize bad things happening to a child? And how do you deal with discrimination?
I felt it was the most realistic of the EarthSea novels, while still being quite gentle for the themes treated.
