Whoever started using the last name “good enough” must have been an interesting person.
“Hey, you, don’t you want to get a proper name, like Miller or Smith?”
“Nah, this one is good enough.”
I was just about to post this article (Thankfully lemmy warns you that it might be a duplicate!).
This guy isn’t a household name by any stretch but this invention quite literally changed the world. Few people have as far reaching of an impact as he had. Almost 101 years old too. I think he did Good…enough.

I seem to recall hearing a few years ago that the inventor of Li Ion batteries was working on a successor battery technology. Was that him? And did he finish?
