I’m confused by everything about this post and its comments.
Bulls charge at the color red (or that was what people thought for a while)

How about just stop drinking sugar water…
My family has been recently trying to get me to drink that bubly crap because it’s ‘better then water’…I just give blank stares and go right back to the water.

No sugar or other sweeteners in sparkling water, don’t worry.

No point in drinking water altered by companies…

“Altered by companies” is such a tinfoil hat way to say it

And it’s not wrong. Enjoy your ‘insert branding’. All hail the overlords selling you ‘water’!

I like how you’re too scared to reply to BlueLineBae’s retort but you responded to this one.

Benefit of public forum. You can cherrypick your answers and who you reply too.

I don’t drink it either, wise guy. I’m just not pretentious about it.

I hate to break it to you, but tap water has been altered by a company… for the better. Even local ground water has to be filtered to some extent by the local municipality. Only time you’re getting untouched water is if you have a well on your property. And even then, a lot of people have discovered that local farm and industrial activity can drastically change the quality of that water. And even if you’re lucky enough to have well water that isn’t filtered and isn’t affected by anything outside your control… you could have old lead pipes in your house… or the water could be affected by radon or many other things. Basically… I wouldn’t fret too much about who touches your water unless it presents an actual danger to your health.

Some of us would like a change once in a while. Bubbly water is pretty harmless. As is nearly everything in moderation.
Or you could do you, and police everyone’s behavior. So looking below, it’s probably not that people are offended when you drink water. They’re tired of you constantly judging them for not. I drank bottles of water constantly in a very pro-booze dorm and I never once had someone comment on it.
I’m a water and tea guy myself.
