I’m pretty sure that she is one of many artists who became popular in Canada, but were never successful outside the country.

Pretty big female hard rock and metal scene there over the decades, but also a lot less exposure until recently.

Despite the name and the title, most of her other songs were less “metal” and closer to more mainstream hard rock at the time.
Yeah, somehow the music reminded me of Europe (the Swedish hair-rock band from the 80ies).
