Out of all the apps that started after the migration, this one has come the farthest and it’s still improving. It’s probably the best Free Lemmy app out there.
Reminder to tip your developer! I was willing to pay for Boost, and so it only feels right to do the same for Connect.
I’m not sure which one I’ll use the most moving forward, both Boost and Connect have separate benefits and issues still, but I appreciate you all nonetheless
I’ve always used boost for reddit, but I like not being tracked by Google, Amazon etc.

It’s amazing how much Connect has improved. I found it virtually unusable at the beginning. Now I can’t imagine using Lemmy without it*. No ads, no selling of data, and a highly customisable app that does what it says it does.
*I have not been paid to say this. Just a happy user.
What if i pay you because I want you to keep saying what you just said , then technically you can’t say you have not been paid to say what you just said, correct? Even if the payment is against your will.
Well, I wouldn’t put up a terribly strong fight if you were to pay me…
As a long time Boost user for reddit, I was tempted to switch over when I saw the news. Then I thought about it and realized that Connect has been working just fine and I really have no reason to switch.
Maybe I’ll dabble in a couple other apps to see if any suit me better, but as for now, Connect is the only one I need. Great app, thanks!
I was wondering the same way with Sync. Sticking with Connect.
Not moving, & not even going to try boost, adding ads & trackers, in an open source space, in order to charge to remove them, really goes against the grain… There’s plenty of fully featured apps available & well supported here already, that deseve a big hand 👏🏻
