“anyone who tried to harm the robot would be identified and arrested.”
But what if you sneak up and dress it like a Dalek, maybe with a speaker that yells out, “IT IS THE DOCTOR! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!” That cannot possibly be a crime.

This one doesn’t look like it has weapons, but I really hope it’s programmed to have a squealing freak-out if it falls down some stairs.

No weapons?
I give it a week before someone destroys it for shits and giggles.

At least it’s the same dimensions as the regular cops.

moves at a maximum speed of 3 miles per hour.
The resemblence to real police officers is uncanny.
Oh thank god. I really hope it has a 50 calibre Gatling gun affixed to its crotch and an itchy trigger finger. I mean they are just too many people and so little time.
