fruitleatherpostcard ( @fruitleatherpostcard@lemm.ee ) English2•9 months agoHow about mounting guns on tractors? Or ploughs on tanks?
I’ll bet a big harvester could be a great platform for rocket launchers.
apis ( @apis@beehaw.org ) English3•9 months agoIdk, those harvesters are often rather delicate, so unsure how well they’d manage backfire from a rocket launch, but you have me imagining those farm machines with the huge sprayer wings, but fitted with lightweight guns, all controlled from the cab.

Mind you, Pakistan is possibly one of the most inbred countries that exists, so perhaps encouraging weapons on tractors ain’t such a great idea.
cnnrduncan ( @cnnrduncan@beehaw.org ) English1•9 months agoBack during WW2 we made some shitty tanks by welding a bit of corrugated iron and some bren guns to tractors cos that was the best we could produce in-country!
