YewmanBean ( @YewmanBean@slrpnk.net ) 29•9 months agoIf you have a cut, stay out of water and keep away from raw food.
OP, we don’t appreciate being left hanging🙎
millie ( @millie@beehaw.org ) English6•9 months agoSpecifically it says to avoid handling raw seafood if you have an open wound. It’s not recommending that we all give up sushi or like, avoid lettuce.
YewmanBean ( @YewmanBean@slrpnk.net ) 2•9 months agoI prefer my lettuce without any body part that isnt anything but the outer skin of a hand. I think if one does have any type of wound, they should still protect it and the food from any type of bacteria, flesh-eating or not.
And also, cross contamination is also a thing so let’s all remember to put some order in our fridges if we do have raw carnie food, and prewash before preparing.
