What’s worse is he has no opinions of his own. He’s simply saying this because it will make the needle move. He’d just as quickly endorse the trans community if he thought they would help him stay in power.
He’s being coached on what to say and how to say it - that’s why he repeats the same points over and over. This is just another one of those points.

I Cant be the only one to think there was plenty of Hate Speech in these speeches as well ?
Braverman was certainly guilty of it.

A helpful reminder that when right-wingers claim they value free speech, they only mean the free speech that comes from people who agree with them. Anyone who disagrees is not entitled to say anything.

Yep, obviously we’re going to say it anyway. It’s just very telling that people do seem to get fired and banished from conferences far too often for exercising free speech that criticises the government.
