Besides the web player taking after the main video site, YouTube Music now automatically adds songs to the last used playlist...

Is that on the paid service? I don’t pay and don’t use YT Music very often these days.

  I think you can use YouTube music for free, but it’s a heavily downgraded experience. So, it might as well be for paid only.
