For some added context, this is a picture of Mr Popo and I believe the line is specifically from DBZA.
Currens_felis ( @Currens_felis@lemmy.ml ) 11•9 months agoIs that Mr Popo?
sammytheman666 ( @sammytheman666@ttrpg.network ) 18•9 months agoYeah but the version of DBZ abrieged. Which I hoghly recommand as its funny as fuck
epicanis ( @epicanis@akkoma.dogphilosophy.net ) 14•9 months ago@sammytheman666@ttrpg.network @Currens_felis@lemmy.ml Not only very funny but, in my opinion, a better story with better pacing and better characters than the original.
Mr. Popo as a horrifying sadistic eldritch being was absolutely an improvement.
It’s starts a little rough but quickly turns into something truly amazing
sammytheman666 ( @sammytheman666@ttrpg.network ) 6•9 months agoI dont know, the redneck in episode 1 sold me
Personally for me it was the line:
“Look Vegeta, a pokemon.”
Frickin broke me lol
Hexagon ( @Hexagon@feddit.it ) 5•9 months agoFor me it was “Kage bunshin no jutsu!”
I noticed the familiar but unexpected sound effect just before the line, and then it hit me full force
sammytheman666 ( @sammytheman666@ttrpg.network ) 3•9 months agoCare to elaborate ? Im curious
Hexagon ( @Hexagon@feddit.it ) 4•9 months agoRemember the part where Krillin and Piccollo make 2 copies of themselves to fight Nappa? They edited that moment to look like they make Naruto’s technique
sickday ( @sickday@kbin.social ) 7•9 months ago“Oh god no, mah marijuana patch!!..”
Man I’ve gotta rewatch it now.
Yup, it’s Mr Popo
Currens_felis ( @Currens_felis@lemmy.ml ) 3•9 months agoI’m currently watching DBZ abridged BTW. I’m on season 3.
First time watching it?
Currens_felis ( @Currens_felis@lemmy.ml ) 2•9 months agoYes, I watched the hellsing abridged many times over tho
21Cabbage ( @21Cabbage@lemmynsfw.com ) English8•9 months agoI even heard the voice reading this.
Kichae ( @Kichae@lemmy.ca ) 7•9 months agoThe last time they did this, I found five corpses.
blackbelt352 ( @blackbelt352@ttrpg.network ) 6•9 months agoHe laughed when I said 5.
sculd ( @sculd@beehaw.org ) 4•9 months agoIMO splitting the party makes for very fun story telling but too many campaigns require players to stick together otherwise they would die.
