There’s no reason to believe a refresh will have GDDR7 due to architecture design, but the top RX 8000 and RTX 5000 will.

If there is a RX 8800 with 16GB of GDDR7 I am definitely buying my first Radeon.

The only thing that still hurts Radeon is encoder and raytracing. Maybe Intel Battlemerge will finally force Radeon to lower release pricing on new graphics hardware since AMD seems to be cool with always losing to nVidia.
