The limited gag order prevents the former president from criticising prosecutors and witnesses.

No way he doesn’t violate it
- SuiXi3D ( @SuiXi3D@kbin.social ) 24•1 year ago
Let’s hope they have the balls to actually enforce it.
- Jaysyn ( @Jaysyn@kbin.social ) 6•1 year ago
They do not.
- ripcord ( @ripcord@kbin.social ) 4•1 year ago
They won’t.

OMG finally. That took way longer than it should have.

Is this a new gag order, or one of the previous ones?
Edit. It’s a brand new one lol. I like this quote:
“Because he is running for president, he gets to make threats?” Judge Tanya Chutkan asked.
- Wage_Slave ( @Wage_Slave@kbin.social ) 7•1 year ago
I for one can’t wait for him to break it.
because he’s gonna break it in fantastic fashion rendering every darwin award moot in the wake of how fucking stupid it’s gonna be.
- RhetoricalRat ( @RhetoricalRat@kbin.social ) 3•1 year ago
It’ll only be stupid if it costs him. He will likely decide to play chicken and turn any disciplinary actions into “proof that Biden and the deep state are silencing my free speech in order to steal the 2024 election!” in the court of public opinion, which I’m afraid will be successful with our electorate of simpletons.
- dubs ( @theletterw@lemm.ee ) 4•1 year ago
They should literally gag him too, probably the only way to stop him from talking.
- LoamImprovement ( @LoamImprovement@beehaw.org ) 4•1 year ago
Legalese for “Will you shut up, man?”
- TQuid ( @TQuid@beehaw.org ) English1•1 year ago
I’m ignoring these stories until I see “detained pending trial.” Nothing short of that matters.
