An actually shocking revelation: the chat control legislation currently being pushed by the EU commission is traceable to foreign interference.

ReversalHatchery ( @ReversalHatchery@beehaw.org ) English15•1 year agoWhile it is no good news, it is a little comforting that there is hard evidence that this legislation is backed by money and dirty corporate interests in unlimited mandatory mass surveillance, instead of it actually being evaluated as a solution.
However the article is almost a month old. Did anything happen regarding this? Is Ylva Johansson still in it’s place, and if so, why? They should be in prison, not in any place where they would do harm to the EU.
I did not realize this is a month old. I certainly did not know about this, but I figure this piece of information probably can’t be overstated for now :-)
