Funderpants ( @FunderPants@lemmy.ca ) 7•8 months agoThey need to work to support themselves just like domestic students. Although I think the 40 hour a week limit is too high, considering they are meant to be in full time studies.

That’s how exports work. You can’t import something without paying for it.
At least in this case some of them return and add value to their home economy by having better education than is available in their home country.
