As a 31 year old trans person with dysphoria this feels somehow targeted… 🤔

For those assigned female at birth, the highest prevalence of gender dysphoria diagnosis was at the age of 19, compared with 23 for people assigned male at birth.

considering when puberty begins on average for these two groups, it matches what I see in the community. the aging of the secondary sex characteristics has been a lot of what set some of my trans friends on their path. “I don’t want to be an old [man/woman] I’m going to transition so at least I can live the last half honest” is a story I see in that age range.
