wvstolzing ( @walthervonstolzing@lemmy.ml ) 7•8 months ago‘should have’ – but didn’t? What happened then?
Deconceptualist ( @Deconceptualist@lemm.ee ) English2•8 months agoI had that moment too but I think this is actually intended as “should keep bookmarked”.
wvstolzing ( @walthervonstolzing@lemmy.ml ) 2•8 months agoYeah, I’m sure that was the intention; but the wording is off, so I wanted to take a little jibe at it.
ISometimesAdmin ( @ISometimesAdmin@the.coolest.zone ) 1•8 months agoIt’s prefectly reasonable to say “I have that site bookmarked”.
Then go to “I should have that site bookmarked”.
“I’ll check on that one site I should have bookmarked”
Etc.
ivanafterall ( @ivanafterall@kbin.social ) 6•8 months agoBut I didn’t bookmark them, so where do we go from here? The judgy tone isn’t helping.
squiblet ( @squiblet@kbin.social ) 3•8 months agoThe intro is a little less proscriptive: “ Here’s the list of my favorite Linux websites. Perhaps you’ll like them too.”
abuttandahalf ( @abuttandahalf@lemmy.ml ) 2•8 months agoAre you getting offended from a listicle title?
jw13 ( @jw13@beehaw.org ) 2•8 months agoI highly recommend LWN.net.
