Interview done - went as well as it could have done, once I had to stop because my voice shook but she reassured me and I took a deep breath and went on.
A lot of the questions I’d prepared she didn’t ask and a couple she asked I hadn’t anticipated, but I got through them just fine and she could see how I’d think on the fly and (I hope) knew my stuff.
She said I’d probably hear by the end of the day, so fingers crossed!

I did make da McDonald’s dis morning coz i am a certified tight-arse. Egg and sausage macburger deluxe macmuffin with unlimited hash browns (2 per person) and a bottomless instant coffee.
I did learn if one touches the inside of a hot airfryer wiz ze fingies one can become a human car alarm.
Once again you have my attention. Tell me about the sausage component please.

Interesting. The sausage flavour of the mcmuff is really hard to replicate, however, several years ago I found a butcher that offered “breakfast sausage” (whatever that means.) It tasted exactly like the McDonald stuff.
Have not been able to locate any since. It’s a very specific flavour that eludes me to this day.
Your version looks great though and making me hungry.
It is hard to replicate and these are the closest I have found that takes the least effort. Saying that I haven’t had a mcmuffin for years now so I’m not sure how far off I am.

I hated experiencing that when my ex-stepdad used to live with us. It always gives me such uncomfortable feelings and so jarring too.
Glad he’s not here any more, though not saying that I myself am perfect, but doing my best to unlearn a lot of it that’s just imbued in our culture. So I sympathise with you a lot.
My family is full of them. Partners family is full of them. They know my thoughts but they have safety in numbers at family gatherings so don’t hold back. Not looking forward to Christmas and hearing everyone’s opinions on the voice. Or Gaza. Puts me in a shit mood for the holidays every single time.
I suspect the racists/idiots etc can detect my utter dislike and contempt for their views. And yet I listen to them carefully and try to understand what they are saying and why. Something they never seem to reciprocate.

I mixed sour cream and Philly cream cheese into my scrambled eggs mix. They’re fluffy and delicious!
Yes. Philly is a good ingredient - the Sopranos got that bit right. For eggs, if you like em super fluffy, try mixing the beaten egg with some of the ‘water’ from around a can of corn kernels instead of milk/cream/philly - makes scramblies and omelettes super super fluffy.
