SmoochyPit ( @SmoochyPit@beehaw.org ) English37•7 months agoThe pins reduce the area making contact for cooling, so really if you bend or break off all of the pins on the socket, you’ll get optimal heat dissipation.
I tried this and can confirm, my cpu doesn’t get hot anymore.
