I was searching this thread for an alternative to dreamhost which has unlimited monthly traffic. I found this Black Friday link from a year ago which still works!

Do I need unlimited? Probably not, but I was worried about going over.

Should be worth mentioning that a VPS is a shared instance in terms of CPU use. Hosting heavy things on it will only slow you down.
Wireguard tunnels and the like though should be good!
out of curiosity, what applications/purpose could this serve for someone who just runs a basic homelab? intrigued!
Can someone provide some use cases for this? Curious how I can extend my homelab via this.
I use one of these VMs for two things. Monitoring my network back home using Uptime Kuma and Tailscale. As well as as a Tailscale exit node (essentially a VPN).
But is racknerd reliable?
They have bandwidth cap though
ionos has a low tier starting at 2€/month for 10GB storage, 500 MB ram, 100 Mbit unlimited traffic.
I don’t know if they had any black Friday sales, that is just their base offering. I am very happy with the server I have.
