so I wanted run a cable from the front of the house to the back front of the house is living room and back is my room and balcony it’s going to go from the front to my room on a switch then from a switch to an externally placed ubiquiti AC mesh what should I look for when buying an outdoor rated cable? I want to get cat 6 for now it will be a gigabit link I want it to be future proof so upto like 10gig the run will be around 20-30 meters long it will be exposed to the sun

should I get a shielded cable or a dual shielded cable? can you suggest good grounded ethernet patch ports?

also I’ve worked with utp cables before they where cat 5e but does cat 6 have the same thickness for its conductor’s? do I need to get cat 6 rated rj45 terminals?
