• Real talk though, it’s because your brain can’t tell the difference between dream movements and real life movements. Basically, it’s to prevent you from actually punching whatever you’re laying next to. Your brain has a few methods to stop this, but the last resort is simply that your brain stops you from making any fast/forceful movements in dreams. Because the alternative is that you’d potentially punch your partner laying in bed next to you.

    • My brain has a syntax error in the code because I have kicked and punched people and objects in my sleep.

I also wake up singing or laughing or crying or screaming, sometimes.

When I was a kid I figured out that I made a specific motion in my dreams to fly. And so I learned to fly in my dreams.

      Dreams are weird.

  • I don’t get how there’s people that can’t do certain things in dreams, I can punch, run and all that

I read the other comment before mine and it makes sense but on the other hand a dream is just your imagination right? I can imagine myself punching someone without actually punching them
